Dominic Fike, who has dealt with addiction issues for years, had been to rehab before he was cast on the show. he faced difficulties sobriety during his time on “Euphoria.”

He shared during an interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music. Dominic Fike openly discussed the challenges he faced while working on “Euphoria.” A drug addict and admitted. It was particularly difficult for him to be part of a show centered around drug-related themes.

Continuing his conversation with Zane Lowe, Dominic Fike the efforts made by the show’s director and writer, Sam Levinson, to provide him with a sober coach, it ultimately didn’t succeed the filming of “Euphoria.”

“I almost got kicked off the show… they were like, ‘Bro, you cannot be doing this,'” Dominic Fike revealed, acknowledging that his actions during filming were jeopardizing his involvement in “Euphoria.”

Despite the crew’s initial opposition to Dominic’s drug habits, he disclosed that they eventually ended up using some of the takes where he was actually high during filming. This suggests that his drug use had an unintended impact on the final product of “Euphoria.”

“They had to… that’s entertainment, dude,” he said. “They give you a bunch of money and they’re just like tell you, ‘Yeah, figure it out, bud. Either succeed or fail.'”

Now that Dominic is sober, he expressed that filming Season 3 will be a completely different experience for him.
